Adobe could stole the marsh towards semantic web!!!

I just have been looking into apollo the next generation web-application on desktop tool and realised that this could be the missing piece of the jigsaw for the semantic web. When this technology mature it would become the web operating system on all platform! Could Adobe be the next Microsoft in the sementic web generation? Well rumour has it that they have $100,000,000 investment plan for this baby so it is not going to be a small lunch here!
