I came across this invitation in my mailbox today, yes folk, Adobe australia is launching software subscriptions for their Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium Subscription Edition.

This looks very interesting as they give you two options of subscription model - monthly with no contract or yearly 12 month at the cheaper rate with bounding contract - I wonder which should I choose?

I am watching my favourite show and the stars right now - Family tie is having a re-union after 20 years. Family tie has to the best show ever! I just love the show and the cast in it, they were so enjoyable to watch and believable as a real family. Of course it is no doubt it was Michael J Fox that made the show the way it was. The other characters were very good as the support cast to carry the story along. Seeing them together after 20 years is breath taking for me. It is for you too?

There is report on the science journal regarding the theory of the role of our appendix, it was proposed that the appendix is the factory for good gem that help digiest our gust. Whenever our body has deficiency in these good gems the appendix will produce the replacement. However the function is not relevant in modern society as we could get good gem from other people.

Although, the function of the appendix is still in the developing world and less croewd region of the world. The inflame appendix still need to be removed as it can kill you.

I was at the launch of Adobe air 1.0 last night, it was a great night with free Air T-shirt as an incentive for attending - I don't think that is enough free flex builder for all would be nice through! I've heard from the gravewine that Adobe has been given out free flex builder to student in USA; why not in Australia? Are we not important? Overall the night was OK but lack of lustre and you could only vote with your mobile on the showcase - I didn't have my mobile with me who would have known if you didn't say the invitation!

A team of scientists has tracked down a genetic mutation that leads to blue eyes. The mutation occurred between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago, so before then, there were no blue eyes.

A multinational team of researchers has found the immune system can stop the growth of a cancerous tumor without actually killing it. They say when the cancer cannot be killed with immune attacks it may be possible to find a way to use the immune system to contain it.

The study calls the cancer-immune system stalemate equilibrium. During this state the immune system decreases the cancer’s drive to replicate and also kills some of the cancerous cells, but doesn’t do it quickly enough to eliminate or shrink the tumor.

The NASA Astromer recently has recalculated the age of the universe based on the finding of the quantum wall paper which they believe was the matter created at the near point to the big bang. Essentailly speaking, they would have found the edge of the universe- give or take a miilion years from the big bang ! it may be a tiny matter of the big bang itself but it is enough for the astronomer to established the age of our universe.

Our universe is about 13.7 billions years old.

It’s easy to make fun of things because they’re different. When Nintendo released the DS, just like the jug-eared schoolboy who’s parents couldn’t afford trousers that fit, a lot of people stood laughing and pointing.
But Nintendo hasn’t been around all this time without managing to learn a few things in the process. With the courage of their convictions the DS has gone from strength to strength and in the process transformed from its original John Merrick design into the handsome, sleek showstopper of the DS Lite (which if you really need a comparison is someone like... oh I don’t know, let’s say Brad Pitt).

Scientists at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign have again broken their own speed record for the world’s fastest transistor. With a frequency of 845 gigahertz, their latest device is approximately 300 gigahertz faster than transistors built by other research groups, and approaches the goal of a terahertz device.

Made from indium phosphide and indium gallium arsenide, “the new transistor utilizes a pseudomorphic grading of the base and collector regions,” said Milton Feng, the Holonyak Chair Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Illinois. “The compositional grading of these components enhances the electron velocity, hence, reduces both current density and charging time.”

With their latest device, Feng and his research group have taken the transistor to a new range of high-speed operation, bringing the “Holy Grail” of a terahertz transistor finally within reach. Faster transistors translate into faster computers, more flexible and secure wireless communications systems, and more effective combat systems.

In addition to using pseudomorphic material construction, the researchers also refined their fabrication process to produce tinier transistor components. For example, the transistor’s base is only 12.5 nanometers thick (a nanometer is one billionth of a meter, or about 10,000 times smaller than the width of a human hair).“

By scaling the device vertically, we have reduced the distance electrons have to travel, resulting in an increase in transistor speed,” said graduate student William Snodgrass, who will describe the new device at the International Electronics Device Meeting in San Francisco, Dec. 11-13. “Because the size of the collector has also been reduced laterally, the transistor can charge and discharge faster.”

download management software pafiledb to change the download address of
PostNuke-0.750.zip to point to a compromised archive. We must stress this is a
security compromise of paFileDB and has nothing to do with the PostNuke
